INTRODUCTION
Strategic foresight uses a certified research framework that enables a systematic way to analysis current signals & trends. Exploring a range of possible H3 (5-10yrs+) future scenarios within the client’s industry & geographical context, pinpointing the preferable future and how to use innovation to drive transformational change. This helps push the design thinking mindset into the future dimension, using human-centric way to understand how external changes have impact to the behavioural change on the society.
FRAMEWORK
Strategic foresight framework aims to proactively help transform our businesses to be future-proof, and being continuously on top of the pulse current & upcoming trends that might have an impact in their industry & react swiftly. Strategic foresight is normally used in industry does provide products/services that have a Long product life-cycle, (e.g. automotive, urban planning, utility and infrastructure)
This framework helps businesses have an Outside-In perspective, identifying some of the key domains/lenses within the external context, assessing the impact that might have on the business. Exploring a range of future possibilities through the ripple effect & identify the preferred future that they would like to pursuit.

The key deliverable of strategic foresight process is to identify the baseline future as well as the different extremes through the preidentified lens.
Here is an example exploring the future of wellbeing in an Asia context, where Physical & Mental wellbeing becomes the top priority for countries, where Happiness Index is now one of the key KPI on a national level; and the launch of the Universal Basic Income. (UBI) The region becomes one of the 1st Super Smart City Clusters, where automation enables a decentralised economy.
